Description:
I just updated Workbench from 5.2.34 to 5.2.44 (operating against a server running 5.1.56 (all community editions) and found that the operations in database synchronization are now extremely slow... from what used to be about 1 sec or so for each of the steps to something like a minute or two. Ran resource monitor on both server (where database resides) and client (where Workbench used) and found that both were essentially idle during most of the wait time; i.e. looked like something spent most of the time waiting for something else to time-out.
