Description:
Hello,

It is impossible to run the SQL Script Editor on a version of Windows Server 2012, as well as the link "Edit SQL Script" or by double click "DB connection".

The popup starts then nothing, the bottom of the screen displays "Connection canceled".

My instance connection is ok yet

Ditto on version 5.2.43.

No problem on Windows 7

How to repeat:
Click link "Edit SQL Script" or double click "DB connection"

I am using Workbench version 5.2.47 of the workbench on Windows Server 2012 and still unable to open the SQL Editor.

Any ideas?

Ok, lets do this:
1. Are you using a VM?
2. Can you please try to delete the current connection and create a new one?
3. If Step 2 doesn't work can you close WB, go to %AppData%\MySQL\Workbench and rename the "connections.xlm" file?
4. Also, can you please send us the WB Log file (Help->Show Log File).

3. tried this & it made no difference
