Description:
When I write in comments section of a column  with ' character the final result is \' when I reload the info. 
ex. I first write "  l'école " in comments section. Then apply change. When I reload the info I now have " l\'école " in comments.

How to repeat:
First write "  l'école " in comments section. Then apply change. Then reload the info you now have " l\'école " in comments.

Could you try with last version 5.2.44 Workbench? .
What languages are you configured?.
i tr to reproduce following :
1.- Open Connection
2.- Select a Table from object browser.
3.- Right click and select alter table.
4.- Select a row.
5.- In "Comments" section write a comment using ' (single quote).
6.- saveit and retry the info and make sure it was saved correctly.

Could you please provide more info detail?

Hi, I have included some screen shoot to explain a bit more. Another thing is when I issue an Enter in that field everything looks god but, when I will save and get back the comment, I will have \n instead of an Enter.

Hi, I have tested the same comments on a different PC running WB but where all is setup english and I don't have this problem.
