Description:
ignore category, i had no idea what to pick

created a database using command line interface (because I could not figure out how to do that via the workbench); switched to workbench; created a table; used php to do a first insert into the table; got an error because I had not supplied a value for the primary key column; returned to the workbench to see if I could specify that the primary key column be generated by mysql; table had disappeared!; poked around to see if the table was still there; workbench crashed

How to repeat:
maybe as outlined above, who knows?

Sorry for this slow reply Miguel. Help About says 5.2.34 CE (for the Workbench) - the Server is 5.5.
