Description:
The installer of MySQL Cluster 7.2.8 for Windows x64 does not work.
It is impossible to install the product.

Following error message is displayed.

(Windows Installer)
"This installation package could not be opened.
Contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer package."

I have confirmed MD5 check sum of the file. So, this is not download related problem.

How to repeat:
1. Download the file "mysql-cluster-gpl-7.2.8-winx64.msi" at http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/cluster/7.2.html
2. Start the installer of the file.

Suggested fix:
Installation process finishes successfully.

Publication of MSIs for Cluster 7.2 has been discontinued for the time being, and the broken packages have been taken down from download sites.
