Description:
I've Installed the mysql 5.25x version
and its working
fine
and I have downloaded and installed mysql odbc connector 5.1
It's also installed well and the driver also I am able to see in ODBC

But the problem here is the databases which are present in mysql are not listing in the databases.

Can you let me know why this happened? and what is the remedy for it

thanks in advance..

sutr kam

How to repeat:
Install my sql database
Create one or two databases
also create tables inside those databases
Install Mysql odbc connector 5.1

The databases are not listing in the odbc when I tried to add a DSN for mysql.

What exact version, 5.1.x, of Connector/ODBC do you use? What exact server version, 5.x.y (5.5.25?) do you work with?

The MySQL ODBC connector version is 5.1.11
mysql version is 5.5.27
Operating system is Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate

Please note that the list of databases will not be displayed unless you provide the valid MySQL user name and password. Also, the user account must have the appropriate privileges for the database you want to see in the list.
