Description:
Cannot access the query editor for any mysql databases located at 127.0.0.1 / localhost. I can manage the server, reverse engineer the databases, but the SQL editor hangs when trying to open the databases. I get the same issue if I try to connect from the main menu or by accessing the database from the other modules. Sometimes once I click cancel, Workbench then crashes without an error code - "MySQL Workbench has stopped working".

I can fully access the databases and tables using other tools (such as phpmyadmin, cmd line tools including with MySQL Workbench). I am trying two different setups: mySQL installed with XAMPP and MySQL installed with easyPHP (obviously, only one set of apache/mysql servers running at one time). I have tried reinstalling Workbench. I can access remote databases. On my Ubuntu VM I can access that SQL Editor for the Linux version of Workbench.

It only started happening recently (possibly post 5.2.41 update).

How to repeat:
Not sure if it is repeatable on an, and
