What kind of distribution is "Linux Mint"? What is the source of the binary you are using?

Linux Mint is Debian. I installed it with MySQL .deb file from this website.

It is working now. The first time I ran, under SQL Development when I opened a connection it crashed but the second time worked and is working fine now and also the auto-complete is much better. I have also tested it on Ubuntu 12.04 and is working.
