Hello Alice, thanks for your report Can you please add more details about your query? (how many rows and how many columns did you have) Also will be good if we know the details of your environment, can you please click on Workbench Help -> System Info and paste what you get here? Thanks in advance!

I'm going to chip in with a "me too" this one. I am using Debian Testing (Squeeze + Wheezy) amd64 using the Workbench 5.2.42 .deb installer for Ubuntu 10.04. It's worth noting that I could also reproduce this problem in 5.2.41 although I don't recall seeing it in 5.2.40. I experience this crash immediately after pressing the 'save' button to save a resultset as CSV. I have had a similar problem in the past and (over IRC) Alfredo was able to track it down to an issue/conflicting version of libctemplate - perhaps this crash is related in some way? When Workbench crashes for me in this way, the last thing it spits out to STDOUT/STDERR is: /usr/bin/mysql-workbench-bin: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/mysql-workbench/libwbpublic.so.0: undefined symbol: _ZN9ctemplate8Template11GetTemplateERKSsNS_5StripE (the lines proceeding that are informational messages relating to my TCP/IP-over-SSH server connection) Some other pertinent information (if it really is related to libctemplate as I suspect) will be attached by txt file. I can also verify that under Debian Testing (Squeeze + Wheezy) I don't have another versions of libctemplate available to install from my package manager. Within the package manager they are listed as versions: Version: 0.97-1 (provided by package libctemplate0 - available in Squeeze's repo) Version: 2.2-3 (provided by package libctemplate2 - available in Wheezy's repo)

Some information about the version of libctemplate I have installed (may be useful?)
Attachment: libctemplate-info.txt (text/plain), 8.51 KiB.

Thanks for your report Alice. Can you please provide a dump of the DB where you can reproduce this issue? Thanks.
