Description:
http://bugs.mysql.com/60926 was closed and 'Change History' had added information about the new '--slave-max-allowed-packet' option. But it is not listed on http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.1/en/server-options.html (and equivalent 5.5 and 5.6 pages).

I tried to wake up Jon by commenting in the closed bug60926 but no luck!

How to repeat:
See above

Suggested fix:
Document the option in 'Server Command Options' pages.

Not a bug.

The option/variable is listed in the table at https://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.1/en/mysqld-option-tables.html and its description appears at https://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.1/en/replication-options-master.html#option_mysqld_slav... / https://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.1/en/replication-options-master.html#sysvar_slave_max_a...
