Description:
At different times the application will just crash. Sometimes I'll be activly using it other times I'll be working on something else (another application) and then all of the sudden it crashes in the background. For the most part I'm connected to a remote mysql server, not working on anything locally.

How to repeat:

Import a database from Windows 64-bit client to Linux 64-bit host will reproduce it, although there is no telling at which point during the import it will happen - or not. Happens several times a day - renders rebuilding large databases completely impractical as I am migrating servers

Please, send the output of Help > System Info menu item.

I also wonder what exact MySQL server version on Linux, 5.x.y, are you working with?

The issue has not been reproduced with a more stable connection to the server. It would appear that transient, however short disconnects during imports of large files may not be dealt with elegantly. Or else, there may be a setting I missed that would mitigate these circumstances.

Please test version 5.2.40. Thanks.

Same thing happens to me on version 5.2.43.

Windows 7 64-Bit. Importing through Remote Mysql a large database, a lot of times crashes instantly, or only allows me to import smaller tables. But seems to be no rhyme or reason as to why or when it crashes, as other user pointed out. Need to migrate a 5GB DB. Any advice?
