Description:
Happened twice, just after i typed the single quote in the insert statement workbench hangs and i have to force quit the application. Please note that workbench is installed on mac osx lion 64 bit accessing database on windows 7 64 bit.

I have tried the insert statement on the windows 7 machine and didn't hang!

How to repeat:
by typing the single quote:

INSERT INTO acc VALUES(233432343, '

Suggested fix:

Update: I just tried the double quote and caused the same issue.

solution found, not a bug.
go to language settings and uncheck US - International PC or you could have country - International PC.
