Description:
I'm running the "complete" install
Running the msi results in a generic error right after the web.config update:
MySQL Connector Net 6.5.4 Setup Wizard ended prematurely because of an error.

How to repeat:
Run the install

Please provide the exactly version of Windows i.e: Vista 64-bits, Windows 7 64-bits etc. Thanks.

We need more information about how exactly the problem happened:

1. Did you have MySQL Connector/NET of older version installed before?
2. Did you have MS Visual Studio running at the same time with installing
   MySQL Connector/NET 6.5.4?
3. Is there enough space in %TEMP% directory and the target disk?

Ugh, frustrating! I've had similar issues. Have you checked your .NET Framework version? Sometimes older versions can conflict. Also, try installing the Connector/NET in compatibility mode for an earlier Windows version. Man, generic errors during an MSI install are the absolute worst. Have you tried checking the Windows Event Viewer? Sometimes it hides a much more detailed error code in the logs. Whenever I get stuck in frustrating install loops like this, I usually take a step back and play a few rounds of https://drift-boss.lol Drift Boss just to stop myself from throwing my keyboard.
