Description:
As of today, all of a sudden, the MySQL Admnistrator for Mac OS X stopped allowing me to manage users.

1. when I add a user, it will display the % host and it will let me add hosts, but as soon as I try to save any changes to the user or added privileges, it will display an error stating "Could not save changes to the user."
2. when the list of users is refreshed or when I open the application, when clicking on the icon to view the list of hosts for that user, the application gets stuck on "Loading..."
3. if I try to delete a user, it will show a prompt saying the action cannot be undone. After accepting the user disappears from the list, but it is not deleted from the DB and will reappear after hitting refresh.

This same issue has evidently happened to other users: http://serverfault.com/questions/354674/cant-edit-an-account-in-mysql-administrator-on-os-...

I tried uninstalling mysql and installing the latest version as well as the latest version of the tools with no luck.

How to repeat:
Do not know.

Suggested fix:

Sorry, but old GUI Tools (including MySQL Administrator) are not supported since December 18, 2009. Check http://dev.mysql.com/support/eol-notice.html.
