Please, check with current version, 0.8.2 or newer (see http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/mysql-proxy/). I can not repeat this with version 0.9.0, for example.

Description: I am using mysql-proxy 0.81 installed via yum package kit details: [recarv@phenom mysql_proxy]$ mysql-proxy -V mysql-proxy 0.8.1 chassis: mysql-proxy 0.8.1 glib2: 2.26.0 libevent: 1.4.14b-stable LUA: Lua 5.1.4 package.path: /usr/lib64/mysql-proxy/lua/?.lua package.cpath: /usr/lib64/mysql-proxy/lua/?.so -- modules admin: 0.8.1 proxy: 0.8.1 upon executing startup with standard admin.lua script and duplicate queries lua script: (http://forge.mysql.com/tools/tool.php?id=234) mysql-proxy dies on startup with a core dump when adding unfinished option "--p" to end of call as such below. It does not core dump if the --p is omitted.
