mysql-connector-odbc-5.1.10-win32: Currently, will get listed within the

Access 2007 appears to use: C:\Windows\SysWOW64\odbcad32.exe. In the drivers tab the 'odbc-5.1 is not listed. However, within C:\Windows\System32\obdcad32.exe <driver> tab does in fact have the driver listed; but windows-7 or Access 2007 does not access or otherwise use this file.

How to repeat:
Install mysql-connector-odbc-5.1.10-winx64.msi on a Microsoft 64-bit Windows-7 install, install or otherwise open 'Access 2007' and a test database, left-click 'external data', on the 'Import' section of the 'ribbon' left-click 'more' the left-click 'ODBC Database', Left-click 'OK' then 'new', scroll the list; you wll not see the mysql-connector-odbc-5.1.10-winx64 in the list.

Your MS office/Access is a 32 bit application, I think?

Did you create a 'system DSN' or a 'user DSN'? Only a 'user DSN' will work in such 'mixed bit stack' environment.

Maybe this (that I wrote recently) will help BTW:

Thanks for your comments and for the interest in MySQL software.
Closing the bug.

I experienced same issue. Backed it down to 5.1.8 and all is good.
