Description:
Hello,

I noticed that there are new ODBC drivers. So I downloaded them and ....
verified the MD5 checksums

They do not match neither the win32 nor the win64 versions.

Tryed downloads from three different servers!

Of course I can't use the files, since there might be a security issue (or a simple mistake).

Sincerely,

Louis
PS: Note that the changelog is empty, but that will probably change soon

How to repeat:
just download and calculate MD5

Thank you for the problem report. This is what I see in reality:

macbook-pro:5.5 openxs$ md5 ~/Downloads/mysql-connector-odbc-5.1.10-win32.msi MD5 (/Users/openxs/Downloads/mysql-connector-odbc-5.1.10-win32.msi) = 6f5aff2efa5c62f8b79cff4e5244233a

and this is what listed on site (http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/connector/odbc/5.1.html#downloads):

(mysql-connector-odbc-5.1.10-win32.msi) MD5: 73ef26c8c9e2a8576239b0cc5f091c6a

Valeriy,

I do not understand that this issue is not yet fixed. It is a security issue which should always have prio-1.

The files people are downloading could be infected! At least that is what MD5 missmatch suggest. Hopfully not but, but if ..... there is big trouble

Sincerely

Louis

This is no longer a valid bug. The MD5 sums have been fixed.
