Description:
The client session was abort when i altered tablespace to add a 2G datafile, then i typed 'ls -lh' to find the size of the datafile that was only 1.7G.
And the ndb could not start up again unless 'ndbd --initial'.
The error:
Time: Wednesday 4 January 2012 - 10:00:06
Status: Temporary error, restart node
Message: System error, node killed during node restart by other node (Internal error, programming error or missing error
 message, please report a bug)
Error: 2303
Error data: You have found a bug! Failed op (UPDATE) during REDO table: 447 fragment: 0 err: 1501
Error object: DBLQH (Line: 19130) 0x00000002

Pid: 13846
Version: mysql-5.1.56 ndb-7.1.15a
Trace: /u02/mysqldata/tra_dt17/ndb_3_trace.log.9

How to repeat:
I can not repeat it so far. Maybe u can try to add a big datafile, meanwhile cutting off the network when the session is running.

Suggested fix:
ndbd --initial

Hi,

I cannot reproduce this and 7.1.15 is so old that you want to upgrade anyhow...

all best
