Hi, 

I have been trying to create a table into my a database i created. I however couldn't proceed as i received this error: External component has thrown an exception

How to repeat:
I couldn't go on with any other queries since i have no tables

Looks like you use old version of Workbench. Please, check if newer version, 5.2.37, solves the problem for you.
