Description:
Case: Was using MySQL workbench and went to rename a table. Things started to go wrong. The table was there, but some references said it wasn't. Workbench finally crashed when 'select * from table' was called. On restart of workbench, this is the error:

Error:
MySQL Workbench has encountered a problem.

Value of '-3' is not valid for splitter distance'. 'SplitterDistance' must be greater than 0.
Parameter name: SplitterDistance.

How to repeat:
Any time I launch workbench, this is now the error. The database apparently became corrupted.

I doubt I'll try to try to replicate corrupting the database.

This is a duplicate of this bug:

Deleting the .xml file resolved the issue of Workbench launching.

Workbench's wb_state.xml config file got sideways and needed to be deleted.
