Description:
The sources for Connector/J are currently not uploaded to the Maven Central repository. Please make it easier for Maven users to download Connector/J sources.

How to repeat:
See http://search.maven.org/#artifactdetails%7Cmysql%7Cmysql-connector-java%7C5.1.18%7Cjar and notice there's no attached sources JAR.

Suggested fix:
When doing a Connector/J release, upload its sources along with the binary JAR. This blog post explains how to enable source packaging with Maven: http://sumedha.blogspot.com/2008/09/maven-tips-how-to-upload-source-to.html
