Description:
Spam is increasingly becoming a problem in bugs.mysql.com. I have 95 open bug reports (excluding feature requests) and probably 200+ that were closed, duplicates or 'not a bug's.

I get notifications for those (around 50 per week) and a handfull of those are spam.

Even though a little annoying, it is not a very big problem at the moment. But I expect that the problem will only grow over time. 6-9 months ago spam here was rare. Now it is an everyday phenomenon. This one arrived this morning: http://bugs.mysql.com/?id=58954

How to repeat:
See above.

Suggested fix:
Before things get out of control I think you should consider installing a spam filter of some kind.

ASKIMET recommended if it can 'fit in'.

In our (Wordpress) Blog (http://www.webyog.com/blog/) we use the ASKIMET plugin and it filters 50-100 spam posts every week (in peak periods much more) and we never had a false positive as far as I remember.

But there may be alternatives.

Will a captcha system do the trick here? I think the spammers are humans and not *bots* ?
