Description:
I'm using MySQL-3.23.38 in combination with MySQL ODBC 3.51.07 Driver DSN on a Windows 2003 server.
It works fine, but it is manipulating some unusual letters in very strange letters. For example the letter "ö" is translated in "ö" and the letter "Ó" is translated into "ó". (I hope in this E-mail the letters didn't change)
Do you know what the problem is? (I haven't seen this problem with MS Access)
It also seems that the "stringtranslation" doesn't happen in textarea fileds and input fields. It also looks good if I look at the data through MySQL Control Center.
If you like you can see the page with the strange strings on http://www.ciera.nl/pto-bedrijfskunde/scc.asp?pageId=29 (in Dutch)

Hope to hear from you,
Kind regards
Fred van den Berg
