What "show tables" error?

I'm sorry, that was a typo - I meant "show plugins"

Does the export crash happen in Mac OS X too? If so, can you upload the crash logs from ~/Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports/ that belong to WB?

I think I was pretty clear that the crash happens on both Windows and Mac. They are essentially the same while doing the same thing (export from remote server), happen in the same short time period and result in the application closing. There are no such directories or files in either of my installations.

What about in ~/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/

Both directories on my Mac are empty. I looked again - you were not clear that these directories are system directories, not WB. Don't you think it would be a good idea for WB to have its own logs? Since this problem has reared its ugly head in two completely different computers, I don't think it should be too difficult for you to duplicate it, the problem is clearly with WB. BTW - on Windows 7 the same crash happens on the last two releases of WB

Do you work with MySQL server 5.0.x? If you do, that "show plugins" problem you mentioned, is it the same as bug #62549 or something else?
