I have the same problem with Workbench 5.2.40 on Windows 7/64 bit. Up until a week or two ago, I could paste text into an SQL window, but now it is as though the clipboard is empty - even though I can paste the same clipboard into other apps. Same result whether I use control-C, right-click and paste, or Paste from the edit menu. Is there any fix, or a Preference setting somewhere?

Fixed as of Workbench 5.2.41, and here's the changelog entry: The MySQL Workbench bug reporting form (MySQL Bugs: Report) did not allow pasting content into the form.
