Description:
hi.
i have updated mysql server to the last version
5.5.17 and now server won't start with the old my.cnf wich was from previous version
it starts only if i delete my.cnf

in /var/log/messages i get only this line

my php version is 5.2.17

How to repeat:
i updated mysql server with virtualmin.
and then just don't want to start.

Please, send the entire error log of MySQL server (usually this is <hostname>.err file in the datadir).
