Description:
When I try to connect to any of the instances in the Server Administration section I get an error message saying:

QueryError: Error executing 'You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'plugins' at line 1'
show plugins.
SQL Error: 1064

Surprisingly I don't get this when I connect to my localhost server. I even removed the instance and recreated it but same thin happens.

How to repeat:
Try to administer any remote connection instance with Workbench 5.2.35. You'll get error
message upon connection.
