Fixed as of the upcoming MySQL Workbench 6.0.9 release, and here's the changelog entry: MySQL Workbench could crash after choosing "Recover" when prompted to recover a model file from a previous session after MySQL Workbench was not closed properly. Thank you for the bug report.
