Description:
I installed Workbench using the MSI downloaded from the web site.  When invoked, Workbench exits with error message upon initialization and before splash screen appears.

Error summary:

Application: MySQLWorkbench.exe
Framework Version: v4.0.30319
Description: The process was terminated due to an unhandled exception.
Exception Info: System.TypeInitializationException
Stack:
   at MySQL.GUI.Workbench.Program.Main(System.String[])

How to repeat:
Unknown.

Suggested fix:
Workaround:  This occurred when Workbench was installed using the MSI.  I uninstalled the tool, downloaded the zipped version and manually started it from the extracted folder.  The tool works when invoked this way.
