Description:
When stopping the service MySQL Administrator asks for the root password but it is never correct. The situation is the same with the root user and with the not root ones.

How to repeat:
After going to the Service Control page and clicking Stop the Service the application asks you for the root password. After specifying it, it is always incorrect.

MySQL Administrator is not developed any more and is not supported. Try to use MySQL Workbench 5.2.34 instead.
