Description:
hi,

I don't have a core file unfortunately, I'll try to make MySQL write one next time.

I'm going to attach the server error log + my.cnf and show full processlist + show engine innodb status both generated 1 second before mysql server crashed.

How to repeat:
I don't know, will try to generate a core file.

Likely not a mysqld bug at all, since crash happens in libc.
Adding "skip-name-resolve" to my.cnf will workaround the problem by skipping the reverse DNS lookup for each new connection..

Hi Shane,

ok, I'll update this one if it occurs again after we change the GRANT to support skip-name-resolve option.

Regards,
Arnaud
