Description:
After installing mysql-connector-net (including Visual Studio integration), Visual Studio fails to start-up with an error message:

"Only some of the Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 products on this computer have been upgraded to Service Pack 1. None will work correctly until all have been upgraded."

Is the installer clobbering .NET entity framework assemblies?

My Visual Studio version is 2010 Premium SP1.

How to repeat:
Download mysql-connector-net-6.4.3.msi
Rename the file to mysql.data.msi (see my other bug on this).
Shutdown all running instances of Visual Studio.
Execute the installer with typical settings, notably including Visual Studio integration.
After the installer completes, launch visual studio. It will show an error message dialog and fail to start.

Suggested fix:
Make sure the mysql-connector-net installer works side-by-side with VS 2010 SP1 assemblies.

Do you have .Net Framework v. 4.0 installed?
