Description:
After an uninstall of MySQL 5.1 and a fresh complete install of MySQL 5.6 my machine hung upon reboot. After forcing a shutdown (shutdown -sf) and rebooting, any attempt at launching Workbench resulted in a crash (Invalid parameter).

How to repeat:
Not sure if it is reproducible.

Which version of Workbench 5.2.34?. Thanks.

Version 5.2.34 revision 7780.

Update; After a reinstall, I can now start and work with Workbench, but the MySQL 5.5. command line client closes immediately upon start because it refers to "my.ini", which does not exists. When I manually invoke it with, e.g., my-large.ini, it appear to function just fine.

Is there a potential problem with my installation as a whole, or are these unrelated errors?

So, not repeatable with 5.2.34.

Report a new bug about server/installer if you still have problem with missing my.ini.
