Do you use MySQL Workbench? What exact version of it, 5.2.x?
[11 Jul 2011 15:39] MySQL Verification Team
Not repeatable with 5.2.34.

You need to specify a default schema for the error not to appear.

Not sure why this error is appearing. the db name is specified in the create table ddl.

Right click the schema and make it the default schema. Then try executing it.

I have reproduced this bug on workbench 5.2.44 CE Revision 9933.
I got it when trying to do a simple join.
And of course the default database was selected.
Interesting that regular select (no join) worked fine
Restarted workbench and everything started working as it should

Affects Me. (Test.)

I suggest this is a UX/UI issue and IS ACTUALLY A BUG.

I managed to make it work, but I have no idea what I actually clicked or double-clicked on to achieve this.

There are no separate schemas in my database - there is only one, and it cannot be clicked on, or double-clicked on.

When I right-click on the schema, the options are Copy (disabled) or Select All.

MySQL Workbench 8.0.19 Win 10 x64. No helpful option to copy the info from the about screen, it disappears as soon as you click - another UX problem :/
