Additional info I forget: The sound comes from the system speaker (sounds like), like a system speaker 'beep'. Due to its low pitched noise it sounds more like a "doop"

Fixed as of 5.2.36: + On Mac OS X, switching from the Model tab to the EER Diagram tab + caused an error sound.
