Description:
Just installed Workbench for a clean MySQL instance. Created a simple schema with 1 table containing 3 rows of data. Executing a simple query proved impossible.

How to repeat:
Open Connection to Start Querying.
Entered:
  use [schemaname];
(Or you can enter nothing, or any command.)
Execute SQL Script in Connected Server (from toolbar, or Execute from menu)
MySQL Workbench Unexpected Error (External component has thrown an exception)

Suggested fix:
Use MySQL command line instead
