Description:
Getting the following error when trying to create a DB instance in the server administration section:

What check_admin_commands/local
Checking command 'ps xa | grep "/usr/local/mysql/bin/[m]ysqld"'
Server detected as running
What find_config_file/local
Check if /etc/my.cnf can be accessed
Operation failed: File /etc/my.cnf doesn't exist

This folder doesn't exist on Mac.

How to repeat:
Steps to reproduce:

1) Click on create a new server instance.
2) Click on Next leaving the default setting for the first 6 screens and in the 7th which is the test settings page, this error is shown not being able to create the DB instance, therefore I am blocked, I can't do anything if i can't create the DB instance.

Is there any workaround for this?

Thanks!

Eugenia.

How did you install MySQL? Where is it located? Where is the configuration file?
