Description:
In MySQL Workbench
Search - Find (CTRL+F) does not work on any SQL scripts
the FIND is greyed out
Only <Find and Replace> is available

How to repeat:
Open SQL script file

Select Edit -> Find, from menu

Find is greayed out :(

Fixed as of 5.2.36:

+        On Microsoft Windows, the <guimenu>Find</guimenu> option
+        (<keycap>Control+F</keycap>) for the SQL editor was not
+        available.
