Description:
I want to change the default SQL mode that comes up when I Synchronize a Model. I've tried changing default sql mode in the WorkBench preferences, but it has no effect. The sql_mode still comes up "TRADITIONAL" and I need to change it to "ALLOW_INVALID_DATES" for the project I'm working on.

How to repeat:
Set default sql mode in prefs and notice that it has no effect on synchronizing a model.
