Description:
When right-clicking on a view and selecting 'Alter view', workbench raises and exception reading "Could not load file or assembly 'file///c:\....db.mysql.editors.wbp.fe.dll' or one of it's dependencies. Exception from HRESULT:0x80131515

This is on the windows zip version (no install) and I am not running as an admin user in windows.

Thanks

How to repeat:
Right click on a view and select Alter view

What version of server, x.y.z, are you working with? Do you have any Python version installed on this system?

Thanks for taking the time to check it out. MySQL version 5.0.77 running on a linux box. Workbench is running on Win7.

I am not aware of any python install. I do run Bazaar version control on windows, which is python-based.

By the way, this also happens when double clicking "Add Table", "Add View", or "Add Routine".

Just ran an older version of workbench (5.2.28) and this problem does not exist. It works as expected.

Works in 5.2.31a, but not 5.2.32...

What package are you using?
[4 May 2011 13:28] Jon Elofson
Not sure what you mean by what package, but as I mentioned in the bug report, it's 5.2.33 CE rev. 7508 on win7. This is the Zip version with no install.

Please try the msi package
