Thank you for the images uploaded. But what about my requests from the previous comment?

It appears that my carefully crafted submission was dumped when I submitted the images - thus this addition. Python is installed to support GnuCash download of stock price data. Image 01 is the exception message originally encountered. I have yet to successfully download a query result to a file. I enter the path info (image02) - The result is unable to open file (image03). Attempted work around by clicking in upper left corner of query result window, Cntl+c; Cntl+v into LibreOffice spread sheet - result is same as originally reported with the notification message embedded in the spreadsheet (image04). Comment - Get along fine with MySQL Browser and Administrator - so far Workbench is mostly a mystery. nvsoar

If you have Python installed, this may be a know problem/bug of Workbench that uses that other version of Python instead of embedded one. Please, check if the following binaries: ftp://ftp.mysql.com/pub/mysql/download/gui-tools/mysql-workbench-gpl-snapshot-5.2.34.7605-... solve the problem for you.

Followup - It appears that Workbench v5.2.34 has removed the exception message, and the query result export problems I was experiencing. Thank you for your assistance. nvsoar

The fix has been committed to our source repository of Workbench and will be incorporated into the next release.
