Description:
I find 5.6.2 on FTP-mirrors - like ftp://ftp.easynet.be/mysql/Downloads/MySQL-5.6/

But no documentation found anywhere on mysql.com. It should be here: http://dev.mysql.com/doc/.

I realize that there is no official announce (so this is hardly a bug), but with no information how 5.6 differs from 5.5 the binaries do not have much value for users.

How to repeat:
Please provide 5.6 docs pages as soon as possible.

Thank you for the documentation request. As a workaround, try specific URL, with 5.6 in it, like:

http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.6/en/index.html

Thanks a lot .. I really don't know where or how I should be able to find it by myself!

The 5.6.2 binaries were to be announced on April 11, and the docs to be made visible on that date, which they were.

This bug was filed on April 10, before the release date. We populated the servers with the docs slightly ahead of the release announcement so they would be ready, but it's not a bug that we didn't make them visible before the announcement.

The MySQL 5.6 Manual has been released in April: http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.6/en/index.html
