Description:
i am using microsoft visual studio web development 2010 and i have installed the connector Connector/Net 6.3.6. when i search for i try to add database from database explorer, there isn't mysql server. any idea about this?

Hi Marios,

Unfortunately, Visual Studio 2010 Express and Web development only support MS SQL server connections. Third-party NET providers such as MySQL Connector/NET are not supported. It does not even support ODBC connections.

To do so you would need Visual Studio Professional or higher.
This is not a bug in Connector/NET or Visual Studio, but a deliberate limitation of functionality in VS.
