Hi Marios, Unfortunately, Visual Studio 2010 Express and Web development only support MS SQL server connections. Third-party NET providers such as MySQL Connector/NET are not supported. It does not even support ODBC connections. To do so you would need Visual Studio Professional or higher. This is not a bug in Connector/NET or Visual Studio, but a deliberate limitation of functionality in VS.
