maybe this is clearer: not possible to resize on top or bottom.

Hi Peter, is it possible to resize the app window vertically by grabbing the window border at an edge (where you should be able to do both-direction-sizing)? I cannot reproduce the problem here, Workbench is resizable at any point i tried along the 4 window-edges as well as on the corners (same system here - win7/64).

OK .. I understand that I already had the 'minimum vertical size allowed' so it could not be made smaller - only bigger - vertically. The issue with scrollbar not appearing is not reproducible now. Likely my mistake. Sorry!
