Description:
Using workbench 5.2.31 on fedora core 14 (mysql server 5.1.55) if you use the accounts tab under administration to create a user, the user name is created, when you apply schema privileges they are listed but not actually in the database mysql->user. The only way to get them loaded is to manually alter the table and perform a server bounce or flush privileges. This was buggy also under the older tools. Any user you create using workbench cannot change/create/alter password using the accounts tab, you end up with a password-less account.
IMO: I should be able to create a user and grant tables and have it immediately effective with one "apply" the old amdin tool you had to create the use, apply, then alter the user, where workbench is busted altogether. I hope its just something dumb I did, if not, plz address.

How to repeat:
Create a new user using workbench and use client to verify access/password.

can you please try with most recent version if the problem still exists?
thanks in advance
