Description:
I did a query that took a couple minutes and generated several thousand rows--maybe 10,000. I clicked the toggle to get more than the first 1000. "Toggle limitation of the records number." Workbench reported an error--a memory access violation.

I restarted Workbench and now I get, "Invoke or BeginInvoke cannot be called on a control until the window handle has been created.

If it matters, I'm using SSL tunneling.

It would be nice if the error screen would pass the information it has to the web page. It would be nice if the text of the error screen were copyable.

I get no meaningful feedback after pressing the button "Toggle limitation of the records number." Eventually, the cursor changes to an hourglass.

How to repeat:
Well, you may need my data set. It's about 10GB. The query I was executing was select count(*), date(date), site_id, slot from impressions
group by 2,3,4;

I don't know what else to say.

Can you ty again with most recent version? While the latest version might still have problems with datasets that large, it should not have problems upon (re-)start. if it happens again, can you check in taskmanager if there are orphaned processes of workbench running which might prevent it from starting again?
thanks in advance

I installed and retested on 5.2.33. Rather than crashing on clicking the "Toggle limitation of the records number" button, MySQL Workbench hung. After about an hour, I terminated it. Workbench started fine.

More data:  In
select count(*), date(date), site_id, slot from impressions group by 2,3,4;
date(date) has maybe 700-100 values. Site_id and slot id each have about 5.

This query:
select count(*)
from
(
select count(*), date(date), site_id, slot from impressions group by 2,3,4
) x

returns 17333. So that's how many rows I was trying to load in Workbench.

I'm having a similar crash - but Workbench starts up fine after it dies - might fit on different bug ticket?

30GB database want more than 1000 rows returned
Click toggle limitation of the records number
Workbench hangs with hourglass top of window ="MySQL Workbench (Not Responding)
Crashes after 5-15 minutes

Doesn't seem to be consuming an unreasonable amount of resources.
