mysql-test-run: *** ERROR: Error executing mysqld --bootstrap

bootstarp.log has the following

ERROR: 1064  You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//IETF//DTD HTML 2.0//EN">

I wonder why category is set as Server:Documentation?

This is a server error, 1064. The error message suggests to have a look at the docs, but I wouldn't consider this a docs bug. ;-) Changing category to Server for that reason.

Need the contents of bootstrap.log for a decision of what exactly is causing this problem

Problem has disappeared today. In fact yesterday's failure is now not even seen in http://pb2.norway.sun.com/?template=show_pushes&branch=daily-trunk page. Not sure what is going on

This must have been some environmental problem. Closing the bug
