Description:
I have 2 linux boxes (production and development).

Both boxes have the same version of mysql. One of them it's the stable release of Debian, another one have testing/unstable packages.

I have in both my.cnf files mysql should use the spanish language.

In the stable box when I make a select in a table with float(12,2) I get the results with a comma decimal separator. In the testing box I get the same but with dot decimal separator.

mysqldump extracts the numbers using dot decimal separation

If I have spanish (comma separator in selects) in the stable box a "mysql database < file.sql" command discards the decimals. If I have english in stable box the decimals are accepted and the selects show a dot decimal separator.

A tip for the problem please? Mysql versions are the same in both machines (testing packages of MySql)
