Description:
workbench dies on first start-up; works on next try.

How to repeat:
1. start Workbench (from task bar)
2. get splash screen; wait forever; (double) click on 'SQL Development'
3. app blocks and goes 'Not Responding'
4. I kill the app
5. start Workbench again (same way, from task bar)
6. splash, then app opens normally

comment: I know I'm supposed to wait for the splash screen to go away and the app to start properly, but the app seems to hang at that initial stage and the cursor just goes 'busy'. The first time it stays this way for a very long time (at which point I get impatient and click on the splash screen...) The second time it just works right away.

This happens pretty much always, I think. It definitely happens just after a reboot.

can you try most recent release (5.2.31a) to see if the problem still occurs for you?
thanks in advance

Updating to the most recent version of the workbench solves the problem.
