Verified on Windows XP. I clearly remember opening several Workbench windows in the past, and, indeed, this can be useful as there is no "MDI" feature in MySQL Workbench, so now there is no way to work with more than one diagram at a time.

Any developments on this?, I'm stuck in version 5.2.29 so I can have multiple diagrams open.

Noted in 5.2.34 changelog. On Windows, it is possible to open multiple models, but it was not clear that enabling this preference requires a Workbench restart. The checkbox tooltip now indicates this.
