Description:
I cannot open another instance of MySQL Workbench to view another model, and trying to open a model with another one currently open makes the program crash.

Also, closing the current model for viewing another one in the same program instance is an enormous mistake, not a feature. Imagine if MS Word didn't let you open multiple documents in separate windows. Please, let other instances of MWB be open at the same time. Whoever thought of this deserves a very hard slap on the back of the head. I'm rolling back to the previous version of MWB.

How to repeat:
Open a .mwb model.
Look for another .mwb model and open it.
Program crash after advice that current model will be closed.

Suggested fix:
Let a .mwb be open in a new window. Ditch the "close-old open-new in the same window" "solution".

Verified on Windows XP.

I clearly remember opening several Workbench windows in the past, and, indeed, this can be useful as there is no "MDI" feature in MySQL Workbench, so now there is no way to work with more than one diagram at a time.

Any developments on this?, I'm stuck in version 5.2.29 so I can have multiple diagrams open.

Noted in 5.2.34 changelog.

On Windows, it is possible to open multiple models, but it was not
clear that enabling this preference requires a Workbench restart. The
checkbox tooltip now indicates this.
